Bag Full of Treats for
Kids Fun Run Participants

This year’s participants in the Kids Fun Run at Miles for Matheny, Matheny's fundraiser and community event, can look forward to a bag full of treats, courtesy of the children of employees at Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, the Morristown-based law firm that is the Kids Fun Run sponsor.  Several of those children gathered recently in the PBN offices to practice for the big day.  From left:  nine-year-old Luke Schnarr of Livingston, three-year-old Jack Dorr of Tewksbury, three-year-old Eva Palermo and five-year-old Gabriela Palermo of Springfield and 12-year-old Jordan Schnarr of Livingston. 

Funds raised at Miles for Matheny will support the Matheny Center of Medicine and Dentistry, which provides medical, dental and therapy care to inpatients and people with disabilities in the community.  Title sponsor is sanofi-aventis, one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, whose U.S. corporate headquarters is in Bridgewater.  The event will be held Sunday, April 18, in Natirar Park in Peapack.  Activities, in addition to the Kids Fun Run,  include the Lu Huggins Wheelchair Walk, a 5K race and several cycling routes.  A celebration picnic will be held at Matheny following the Wheelchair Walk.
