Linda Westenberger Named Director of Health Information Management

Linda A. Westenberger, MPA, RHIA, has been named director of health information management at Matheny, succeeding Theresa Jones.  Westenberger, who was office manager for health information management, joined Matheny in January, 2003.  Prior to that, she was a medical records consultant for St. Catherine of Sienna Convent/Infirmary in Caldwell and before that was a medical records consultant at Morristown Rehabilitation Center in Morristown.   She has also worked as a per-diem employee in medical records services at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville, a medical records supervisor at B.S. Pollak Hospital in Jersey City and assistant director of medical records at Memorial General Hospital in Union. 

Westenberger, a resident of Randolph, NJ, has a BS in health record administration from York College of Pennsylvania and a Master of public administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  She has been registered as a health information administrator from the American Health Information Management Association since 1984.
